Frog Obsession LOL
Today is Friday again! YAY! Hopefully there will be much sewing inspiration this weekend! I am sure I will find ample time to work on my projects.
Last week, I completed my challenge which was finishing up the quilted frog quilt top. YAY! So glad I got that done! I knew there was a reason that I stopped working on that quilt! Working on it makes my frog obsession kick in and I am now totally back into all things frogs :) !!!! I do ♥ the little froggies. And now, I search for frogs everywhere! LOL!
First up, I need to show you my Show and Tell Fridays project. You can find out more about Sew and Tell Fridays here. You can look at all of the projects posted on www.amylouwho.com and you can get so much inspiration from viewing the items. Some of the projects are just plain amazing!!!
This week I finished my quilted frog mini travel pillowcase that matches my quilt top. I love this little gem and the green and soft yellow colors!
I love this little cute frog. I am going to design a paper pieced pattern to do this froggie!
I also started a frog mini quilt this week and I worked up a few blocks with this adorable mini design. Once I have the blocks done, I will have to come up with a design to set the blocks.
The little frogs are 1 3/4" square; the green striped border is 1/4" and the rest of the block is the 4 leaf clover fabric. Love the color combo!
Also, since Mr. Frog is the theme of the week, I made a bunch of Dear Dairy blocks with the frog theme!
Frog mini blocks - 3 inch squares
Smiling frogs :)
Tiny green froggies!
Love the stripes and clovers!
Well, maybe this weekend, I can break the cycle and do something with other than frogs! But if not, c'est la vie!
Happy stitching,
Carla
