Imperial Splendor is the first queen size quilt top I have ever worked on. This quilt is the most recent Block of the Month program from Joann's. I bought each of the blocks prepackaged from Joann's complete with precut fabrics and instructions for each block. I enlarged the quilt to queen size. I have pieced all 12 blocks shown in the gallery above. I purchased the setting kit with all of the precut fabrics to complete the quilt top. I have only a few more seams to sew and the quilt top will be done! So exciting!!! I will post photos of the completed quilt top when it is totally done.
All of the fabrics used in making this quilt are still available at Joann's and the fabrics are very affordable. I strongly recommend this one.... especially for beginners being introduced to Block of the Month quilting.
